Totham Lodge is a first-class residential care home standing in 30 acres of beautiful landscaped grounds. The home boasts of elegance, luxury and an excellent standard of care. We provide a unique opportunity for seniors wishing to live in comfortable surroundings along with the knowledge that their immediate requirements will be taken care of by trained and attentive staff.
As you enter Totham Lodge you will be impressed by this large detached residence. There is ample parking to the front. To the rear we have a seated patio area where residents and their guests can enjoy a relaxing afternoon in the warmer weather.
The home has a choice of single or twin-bedded rooms. Each well-appointed bedroom is centrally heated and has a nurse call bell system installed. Most rooms have en-suite toilets and there are private wash facilities to all rooms. There is a lift to the first floor rooms and residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with any items of small furniture to make them feel at home.
We have several comfortable sitting areas where residents can enjoy their various hobbies or watch television.
Meal time is an important time for staff and residents. We provide a varied home style meal with resident’s favourite dishes prepared regularly. Special dietary requirements can be catered for and help and encouragement given when needed. Meals are served in one of our dining areas or their own room if required.
All personal laundry and ironing is carried out on the premises. A hairdresser visits the home weekly and the services of a chiropodist, dentist GP and option are called upon when necessary. Activities within the home are organised and local outings are arranged to suit residents.
Family and friends of residents are welcome to visit at any time, they can entertain visitors in their own room or they may prefer to chat over a cup of tea or coffee in one of our comfortable lounges.
